Oditi X PENDULUM North American DJ Set Tour design brief: Primate Psychedelia

It was so cool designing for this opportunity! I’ve taken inspiration from the warped psychedelic animal motifs from previous Pendulum albums and aligned it with my vision of an enraged baboon; the tour dates sit between its open jaws. The chromatic displacement of the baboon radiates from the focal point of its melting eye, a reference to the visuals for last year’s Anima EP.

The colour palette takes influence from thermal imaging maps and radio wave graphs, with the maze logo bursting from the baboon’s head as if a transmission of sonic magnitude, reflecting the energising effect of Pendulum’s music on the brain.
